I now require from each artist: name, email address and photo of your work for the website. ( this information will stay up for one full year)
Jurying Process: Selection of work will be based on quality, originality and marketability. There will be a percentage limit by category so that one or two disciplines do not dominate the market. The decision of the jury is final.
Quality: All crafts must be of high quality and hand made. Only items that are submitted for Jurying will be allowed to be sold. You will be permitted to put up a sign advertising your business name, but there must be no signs indicating, “Special",”Sale”, “Clearance” or equivalent. Anyone not abiding by the rules will not be invited back.
You must supply your own tents, tables, ect.
NO DROP IN ARTISTS WILL BE ADDED TO THIS WEBSITE.

Come out and enjoy the tunes of Rachel Fuller
Rachel Fuller plays a selection of Soprano and Alto Sax, the Clarinet and the new EWI 4000 (Electronic Wind Instrument). She has a repertoire list of around 200 charts and covers a wide range of styles from ballads, funk and jazz to rock and pop.
Whilst studying in England, she was Principal Sax of the Southampton University Jazz Orchestra, Principal Sax of the Southampton City Pops Orchestra and Principal Clarinet of the University Sinfonietta Orchestra. She graduated with a `First Class Honours` Degree and soon began touring with an international showband taking her around North America, the South Pacific, the Far East, Middle East and much of Europe.
She has recently begun teaching at Motif Music Studios in Courtenay and she also plays with `Time Well Wasted` from the Valley. For more information on Rachel, please visit her website www.rachelfuller.info

Welcome one and all to the Artisans of Qualicum Beach website. Every Friday evening starting July 1, 2011 and running till August 19th, 2011 from 3:00pm to 8:00 pm, you can meet local professional artisans and be entertained by local musicians. From outstanding pottery to sparkling glass work, antler carvings to wood carvings, paintings to jewelery, there is something for every taste.
Local musicians range from local celebrated blues artist to jazz, country and folk.
We are the only Professional Artisan Market on Vancouver Island so come on down and visit us. We are located beside The Old School House Art Gallery just across the street from Qualicum Foods. The Old School House has extended hours too so come on down and enjoy yourself. You will be glad that you did.

I recommend only tents by Black and White to any artist that does not have their own to go see these people. You may rent or purchase a very reliable product!
